If you have a marine fish only tank or a reef tank your PH readings will need to be done via the marine PH line calculation. If you do not set this, then the output of pH read too high in salt water.

If you do not tick the box PH will appear incorrect and normally high by a few points. All pH test systems are affected by the buffering capacity of the water they are in, and this is why all pH systems need to be corrected for KH. Normally in salt water the buffer capacity is very high and constant. SCA SUD settings tile.png

You can still use trim on pH and other parameters after checking the marine box.

If you are using a SWS then then Trim and the Marine Tick box are accessed by the GUI and not the seneye connect.

To use the correct pH line and calculations follow these step by step instructions below:

First, click the padlock image on the Seneye Connect Application SCA.

Next, check the box marked marine.

Now click the box marked marine. A tick should appear.

Save the changes made to special features by rechecking the padlock symbol.

Please be patient while the readings update.

All future readings posted on seneye.me will be using the marine trim.
