Occasionally the pH output of the seneye can be different to what you might expect. This can be down to a number of factors.

The first thing to check is that the method that you are using to compare the results with is reliable. There is a great deal more informaiton on pH testing methods, and why the do not always agree, on the following link.

    • Has the seneye+ slide fully wetted?

It is important to check that the seneye+ slide is fully soaked. The slide must be soaked for at least 24 hours in fresh water and 48 hours in saltwater before use. If you use the slide before this time, the pH reading may not be correct.

    • Is the seneye+ slide fitted correctly?
