    In some cases, the Seneye Connect Application can fail to install if Windows Defender Ransomware is Protection active. In order to disable Ransomware Protection, please follow the steps below:

    1. Find Windows Defender Settings by pressing the Windows key and typing to search.

    2. Within Windows Defender Settings, select Windows Security from the menu on the left and then clcik the button at the top that says 'Open Windows Defender Security Center.'

    3. In Windows Defender Security Center, select Virus & Threat protection from the menu on the left, and then click on Ransomware protection at the bottom of the page.

    4. Ensure that the option under Controlled folder access is switched to Off.

    Once Ransomware Protection is disabled, please try installing the Seneye Connect Application again. If the Application successfully installs, you can then safely reactivate Ransomware Protection and continue using the Application.
