- Make sure the back of the seneye is always used and is clean from dirt clogging the inlets. Excessive dirt will impede water through the device which will make pH slow to react.
- Wipe the clear light window and sensor lenses with your finger and rinse off under water. These windows are made of optical grade acrylic so they are very smooth, meaning that algae and bacteria don't like to stick, and care should be taken not to scratch the acrylic.
The marine environment is a very harsh place and this can lead to extra issues such as coraline algae build up.
TIP: DO NOT USE HARSH MATERIALS OR CHEMICALS TO CLEAN YOUR SENEYE.
